What does this mean?
Self-directed support is where people receive personal budgets, advice and guidance, so that they can manage their support in a way that suits them best. This measure shows how many people who access community based services are receiving self-directed support.
Why is this important?
This measure is important as it shows whether the Council is working with people to give them control over their own care.
