Increase the number of carers who are given information and advice and/or signposted to other universal services at the completion of an assessment
What does this mean?
This measure shows how many carers in the borough participated in an assessment of their needs or the needs of the person they care for, and the outcome of that assessment was that they were given information and advice and/or signposted to other universal services to help them with their caring role.
Why is this important?
This is important as it shows how well the Council is communicating with carers to make sure they are well informed. Making sure carers are well informed and know about the services available to them helps make the care system as efficient as possible, and supports carers in their important role.
