Reduce the proportion of children who become subject of a Child Protection Plan for a second or subsequent time
What does this mean?
Children can become subject to a child protection plan if they are at risk of harm or neglect. The plan shows how the parents and professionals involved in the child’s life will work together to keep the child safe. This measure shows how many children in the borough become subject to a plan more than once.
Why is this important?
This measure shows how good the Council is at making child protection plans that safeguard children, and how good the Council is at making the decision about when to remove a child protection plan.
