Increase the number of complex families achieving significant and sustained outcomes

What does this mean?

Families that are complex often have no adult working, children not attending school and family members involved in crime or anti-social behaviour.  This measure shows how many of these families the Council has worked with to find employment for an adult in the family, improve children’s school attendance or reduce anti-social behaviour.

Why is this important?

This measure is important because it shows whether the Council has been effective in improving the life chances for these families. This has a knock on effect of reducing demand on other public services.
