KS2, proportion pupils achieving Expected Standard, Reading and Writing and Maths – Result for All Pupils

What does this mean?

The Council wants all children in the borough to have the best start in life and therefore monitors levels of educational attainment.  Key Stage 2 refers to school years 3-6 when the pupils are normally aged between 7 and 11.

Why is this important?

This is important because the Council wants to make sure all children have the best start in life. Measuring pupil attainment gives the Council information on whether the education system is working for the borough’s children.
