Cleaner streets: Fly-tipping – Increase the proportion of sites inspected that meet the acceptable standard (Grade A)

What does this mean?

Fly-tipping is where people dump rubbish illegally. This measure shows the proportion of sites that meet the acceptable standard throughout the borough. The acceptable standard is defined as there being no fly-tipping present at the site.

Why is this important?

This is important because it shows how effectively the Council’s Waste and Regulatory teams are in making sure the borough is a clean, pleasant place to live.
